  Agriculture & Natural Resources

About Me

Nikki grew up in Belleville, IL on a small pecan tree farm. She spent her childhood on the softball diamond, in the pecan orchard, by the lake or in the woods. After high school Nikki moved on to play collage softball while completing her Associates degree of Ag. Business. She then continued her education at Murray state majoring in Agronomy (Agriculture Plant and Soil Science) but she also enjoyed studying animal science classes as electives. After graduating with her Bachelors of Agronomy, Hutson John Deere hired Nikki as a Sales Agronomist. Now with a Masters of Agronomy and serving as the Marshall County Extension Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Nikki gets to spend her time doing what she loves best, helping and educating the community. Nikki enjoys spending her free time outdoors. Nikki’s door is always open and she encourages the community to come visit.

Extension Agriculture & Natural Resources

County Agriculture and Natural Resource Agents serve as the link between people in every Kentucky county andStraw Bales experts at the universities. They provide informal education in any area related to agriculture or natural resourcesdepending on the county needs. They coordinate and provide educational programs for the public through meetings, workshops, field days, personal communications, and web or satellite broadcasts. Agents also provide educational materials such as publications, newsletters, computer programs, and videos. All Extension ANR programs are part of the outreach rogram of the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture. County agents develop and implement these ANR programs in their counties. Extension programs make a difference in the lives of millions of Kentuckians through research-based education. Stop by the office for more information.
