We offer a variety of horticulture services. We educate homeowners on how to maintain their lawns, landscapes, and gardens and help commercial producers with their fields, greenhouses/high tunnels, orchards, nurseries, sports fields and more.

What is Horticulture Extension?

Cooperative Extension is the major provider of research-based information for consumers and commercial horticulture. The Marshall County Extension Horticulture program provides both one-on-one and group educational opportunities, such as field days, classroom trainings, and hands-on workshops. We also offer free diagnostic services, including disease diagnosis, as well as plant, weed, and insect identification. Soil testing is also offered for a small fee.
